Funk Daddy Groove!

If there ever was a time to lay down the red shag carpet and uncork that courvoisier, that time would be this coming labor day week-end at Baba's 70's croquet tourney. Time to get smooth, dig out that brylcreem you've been saving for a special day, and watch all those taped episodes of Shaft and Charlie's Angels and Good Times so you know how to jive walk and jive talk like the bad-asses you are. Yeah baby!

The tourney is going to be on Sunday, Sept 3rd. Why? Coz that's when we say it is, ok?! Sheesh! Actually, since it's labor-day weekend we figured all you mallet-hounds need to practice in your pathetic, teeny tiny back yards to try to steal the jacket away from our current super-villain Dave "I look GREAT in this jacket" Stackland. So you've got Friday (which is Art Walk, BTW, so go support your local artists), and Saturday (which is just Saturday) and all day Sunday (when you'll be helping us set up the pitch and sizing the courts up).

We'll be posting a recap of the last tumultous Tiki-themed event, so check back soon.
