The Champ relaxing in comfort and style. It's been a tough summer with next to no competition out there!
Stakland see's the photo of Dale relaxing in sheer style and comfort for the first time...the shock sets in.
He begins to feel the disappointment of losing the jacket last tournament and the fact that he didn't make it to the event...
Alas, sadness begins to take it's toll on the prior champ. Deep inside a yearning for plum and rhinestones begins to burn....
Meanwhile, Joe Moschak describes his master plan for kicking some major ass next tournament...

Nice to see Croquet still going strong in Eastern Iowa. Back in the early 1980s we started the University of Iowa's Croquet team. We invited other schools to tournements. They were too scared to show up. We were on TV, in the D.I., and a feature of a long running campaign in Donald Kaul's column in the Des Moines Register (Over the Coffee) to choose a nickname for the team. Before all was done there was an official funded University activity club. Must have died out quickly after I graduated. Glad to see a rennaissance of sorts taking place.
